Jalapeno Pepper

Jalapeno is named after the city of Jalapa, Veracruz (Mexico). This is a kind of chili pepper, a small size, which is appreciated for the particular sharpness and burning that remains in the mouth after eating. From each bush it is possible to remove from 25 to 35 fruits, as they grow and mature. Reddened fruits are considered to be of lower quality than green ones. The maturation period is 70-80 days. In height, the plant reaches up to 1 m. Acuity 2.500 - 8.000 Scoville.
