Poblano is a soft chili pepper, originating from the state of Puebla in Mexico. Matures from 75 to 80 days. Thick-walled, soft and sharp fruit taste. The ripened fruit is much sharper, than the less ripe, the green. Poblano tend to have a mild taste, but sometimes unpredictably burning. Unripe Poblano is dark purple-green, but as the ripening fruit turns into a dark blood red, almost black. The height of the bush is 80-100 cm. Acuity 1.000 - 1.500 Scoville.
